Background story…My 83 year old grandmother spent the past year in Boston with my mom. They were living in different countries and have been apart for almost 30 years. It was a wonderful time for them to catch up. When it was almost time for grand to go home, we decided to have a family vacation in Hawaii to make it memorable. My aunt and uncle flew in from China to join us. It was of course Olie’s first vacation!
We booked our stay at the Ko Olina Beach Villas which is right next to the Disney Aulani Resort. The surrounding was very relaxing and quiet. Our villa was fabulous with a breath taking view from the terrace. My favorite part, which we sadly underutilized, was the gorgeous Honu Lagoon right downstairs from us.
